Pavan, a software engineer, has been working for the past 10 years and lives with his wife and son. He leads an active and healthy lifestyle. He was enjoying his professional and family life.
When the pandemic started, like many professionals, he too started working from home. This interrupted his daily routine, be it eating or physical activity.
"My office work had no proper schedules, I used to start work in the morning and there was no end time to it", recalls Pavan.
Due to the sedentary lifestyle, he started becoming lethargic and started gaining weight. All this happened without his realization. For a couple of years, he spent his life within the 4 walls of his home.
Since it was work from home, he didn't use any of his formal clothes. After some time when he checked his weight, it was a whopping 94 kg. “ I could not fit into any of my formal clothes”, says Pavan wittily.
Looking at his alarming weight gain, he made a strong decision to work on his weight and improve it. He started doing zumba and other workouts which he was aware of.
During that time, his wife also had started working on her weight loss journey with the support of a coach from the WQ Community. Looking at the simple changes in her lifestyle and step by step results, he decided to follow the same. He started his weight loss journey under the guidance of the WQ coach.
He became aware of how his body works and the dos and don't of weight loss. He followed all the guidance given by his coach religiously.
With his consistent efforts and the support of his coach, he lost 11 kg. He is now full of energy with improved stamina.
“Initially, I could not believe that such simple changes in lifestyle can create such massive results. Now that I have seen it for myself, I can vouch for it” says Pavan with excitement.
