"As a bachelor, I never thought that eating junk and outside food can impact our health to such an extent!", says Mehdi.

After coming to Bangalore, he got in touch with the Wellness Quotient community and started to learn about healthy living.

Lost weight, Gained energy

Govind, who was normally a very active and energetic person, had noticed a sudden drop in energy levels and increase in weight during the COVID phase. Since then, he was concerned about his health.

He got his blood tests done to verify his parameters. His tests revealed that he had a low hemoglobin level of 6.5 and his weight was 70 kg which was surprising for him since he had gained considerable amount of weight. He went to the doctor, who prescribed iron tablets and suggested he maintain a healthy lifestyle.

"When I asked my doctor for advice on how to lose weight and what kind of diet I should eat to boost my hemoglobin levels, without providing any explanation, the doctor just advised me to exercise, get enough sleep, and eat well."

Govind claims that despite following the doctor's advice and eating well, he did not notice any drastic changes in his health but only ended up with an upset stomach due to iron medication from the pharmacy.

In the meantime, he connected with a WQ coach, through a friend, who helped him understand the root cause of his problems.

Govind changed his lifestyle and began following the advice of his coach wherein he learnt the principles of healthy eating through guided exercise, portion control, and organic nutritional supplements that were easy to absorb, and he tolerated it well without any digestive issues.

Happy to lose 20 kg!

"I was overweight since childhood and my dresses were bought based on size instead of my choice!", says Soumya.

Obviously, it affected her self-image in a bad way.

In an attempt to lose weight, she had tried it all - slimming centers, different kinds of diets, gymming, etc. - but it always came back.

"So, when my husband and I wanted to plan for a kid, I didn't want to lose weight the earlier way so that I can have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy child!", she recalls.

Fortunately, I met with my WQ coach who helped me lose some weight and have a healthy pregnancy, a normal delivery and a healthy baby.

But now she wanted to lose the post-pregnancy weight and also the back pain and sciatica pain that she developed during pregnancy.

No more fear of going back to school days weight

Due to a sedentary lifestyle and a day-long sitting job, Rahul started to gain weight slowly.

He decided to make a change and contacted a WQ coach whom he had been following on FaceBook for a while. With all the inspiration and faith from the Wellness Quotient community, he started his health transformation program.

Following his coach's advice worked and Rahul could see a good change in his weight.

In spite of all the distractions during the program, he was able to maintain his weight and that made him more confident that he could sustain it.

"I managed to reduce my weight from 85 kg to 74.5 kg", says Rahul.

Happy to have my health back!

Amit, a busy IT professional, was suffering from the effects of a sedentary lifestyle.

I'm liking the new "me"!

"It has been an exciting journey", says Bhagyashree when asked about her health transformation.

"I never thought this was possible!"

When Bhagyashree approached Wellness Quotient, she was at 98 kg and was suffering from a host of health issues - diabetes, PCOD, high lipid profile, and low vitamins - to name a few.

Lost my post-pregnancy weight!

Swati was struggling with post pregnancy weight for almost a year, after her second pregnancy.

In between, she lost some weight but gained it back again quickly. She was looking to lose this weight in a healthy way.

Around that time, she saw a social media post from one of her neighbours, who also happened to be a WQ volunteer. 12 kg weight lost in 80 days!

Mamata, a housewife, landed up with many health complications just after COVID.

It was not just being overweight, but a host of other issues like gastric problems, acidity, depression, UTI, and frequent fever!

"It was literally a torture for my body", says Mamata.

Starting on my weight loss journey was a great decision!

STARTING ON MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY WAS A GREAT DECISION!

"Weight loss has always been a struggle" is what Dr. Shruthi used to say.

When she delivered her daughter, amid her enjoying her motherhood, the extra weight was constantly nagging her!

CAN I BECOME HEALTHY TOO?

"I saw my friend posting her 20+ kg post-pregnancy weight loss transformation", recalls Rashmi. "And my first thought was can I do it as well?"

With a little hope and a little skepticism, she decided to approach a WQ coach.

I've taken charge on my health now!

Previous experiences of yoyoing between losing and gaining weight made Vijay skeptical about any health program.

However, one thing was very clear. He wanted a program that he could follow for life. And he wanted to lose weight in a healthy way.

"The need to lose weight was always on my mind", recalls Vijay. "Being a foodie along with a sedentary lifestyle and work-related stress, I always had extra weight on me!"

Lost weight, improved vitamin levels!

Alka wanted to lose weight but in a healthy way!

That prompted her to contact a coach at Wellness Quotient.

In her initial discussions, she realised that becoming healthy is a more worthy goal than just losing weight.

"I started to follow what my coach recommended", says Alka.

Within 3 months, her weight dropped from 74.1 kg to 67.7 kg. Along with that, her vitamin D and vitamin B12 levels - which were earlier below range - improved significantly.

My transformation journey!

Madhu not only wanted to lose her post-pregnancy weight but also wanted to address her sinus and low-energy issues!

Post pregnancy weight loss!

"Motherhood is the best phase for any woman, and that was exactly the same for me as well", says Subasri.

But after her second pregnancy, she gained a lot of weight. And the fear of not being able to lose that weight prompted her to contact a WQ coach for help.

After her 1st pregnancy, Subasri tried to lose weight on her own. But that led to digestive issues and later, her weight came back too.

5 YEARS OF BP MEDICATION STOPPED!

Being a doctor, Dr. Sidharth has a travelling job which led him to stay away from family and home cooked food.

Soon his lifestyle brought in high blood pressure, cholesterol, fatty liver and acidity.

"I stopped eating outside and hired a cook. I used to follow a daily exercise routine and a few healthy habits to the best of my knowledge. But I did not get the expected results." Says Dr. Sidharth.

That is when he decided to seek professional guidance and contacted a common family friend, Dr. Nivedita who is a coach in the WQ community.

"After I started working with my coach, I learnt the right combination of exercises, diet and balancing my food with the right nutrition" says a happy Dr. Sidharth.

Lost weight, gained confidence!

Anuradha is a pharmacy professional from Hyderabad. Her weight was a little on the higher side right from her college days.

"I was happy to start my job in the industry. But long travel to the office, canteen food, sitting job profile, stressful work and lack of physical activity slowly started taking a toll on my health" Says Anuradha.

Her weight started increasing slowly without her even realizing it. "There was no routine for me, forget about healthy habits." recalls Anuradha about her job days.

Then came the good news of pregnancy but the reduced physical activity after the C-section resulted in gaining more weight. By the time she resumed her professional career after her pregnancy, she was at 77 kg!

Lost weight and improved diabetes!

Vinothini has been in the IT industry for over 20 years and is a mom to an 11-year-old.

"I had gestational diabetes but never bothered to follow up on it later", she recalls. "This was in spite of the fact that I've many people in my family, suffering from Diabetes".

In June of 2021, she fell very sick. Her sugar level shot to 250+ and her HbA1c was reported at 8.0!

Till then, her efforts were mainly concentrated around using YouTube tips for diet and exercise to lose weight. She had also joined the gym and started morning walks.

But now she realized that she needs more focused and professional help, and hence she reached out to her school friend who happened to be a WQ coach.

15 kg and PCOD - gone!

Sephalika was fed up with taking medicines and wanted a permanent solution to her health issues!

When she saw her school friend reduce weight and become healthy, this 24-year-old homemaker got hope that she can do it too.

What happened for the next 4 months was discussions between her and the WQ coach to understand her lifestyle, suggestions on changes to make and a journey of hand holding and helping to implement these changes.

But after 4 months, Sephalika was excited.

Lost 13 kg and lethargy!

"When it's the right time for you, everything falls in place", says Arpit while talking about his health transformation journey.

He wanted to lose weight. He got in touch with Wellness Quotient and finally, he achieved his health goal!

And for people who have excuses, Arpit works 7 days a week.

Fit during college days, Arpit gained weight while working in his job.

Finally took charge of my own health!

"After delivering 3 kids, I always wanted to gain my ideal weight back. I hated the way I used to look", said Bridgette when asked about her experience of herself before she enrolled in the wellness program!

People used to make fun of her for her weight. And she didn't like that.

She joined the gym, but had to stop due to COVID restrictions.

"I tried restrictive diets on my own, but in vain", says Bridgette. "I used to lose some weight and then gain more back!".
