Lost weight and improved diabetes!
Vinothini has been in the IT industry for over 20 years and is a mom to an 11-year-old.
"I had gestational diabetes but never bothered to follow up on it later", she recalls. "This was in spite of the fact that I've many people in my family, suffering from Diabetes".
In June of 2021, she fell very sick. Her sugar level shot to 250+ and her HbA1c was reported at 8.0!
Till then, her efforts were mainly concentrated around using YouTube tips for diet and exercise to lose weight. She had also joined the gym and started morning walks.
But now she realized that she needs more focused and professional help, and hence she reached out to her school friend who happened to be a WQ coach.
After a brief talk about the approach, she immediately enrolled in a health transformation program.
When asked about what were the key elements of the program which she liked, Vinothini says "Main is eating right and having a balanced meal including raw foods, protein, etc. The focus was also on other pillars like exercise, nutritional supplements, emotional health, stress, sleep, etc."
Over time, her weight reduced from 79 kg to 66 kg - a loss of 13 kg! Apart from that, her diabetes medication has been reduced by 75%!
When asked about her message to other participants who are on their health journey, she says "Believe, stay focused and follow your coach's guidance!".
