I've taken charge on my health now!
Previous experiences of yoyoing between losing and gaining weight made Vijay skeptical about any health program.
However, one thing was very clear. He wanted a program that he could follow for life. And he wanted to lose weight in a healthy way.
"The need to lose weight was always on my mind", recalls Vijay. "Being a foodie along with a sedentary lifestyle and work-related stress, I always had extra weight on me!"
Vijay knew that he needed to take care of his health and lifestyle but wasn't sure how to go about it. But when he met his WQ coach, he found his answer.
He enrolled in the health transformation program and started working with his coach. He learnt the right way to eat as per his body's needs.
"If it was exercise alone, I could not have done it!" says Vijay. But with a focus on a combination of the 6 pillars of health, regular tracking and his commitment, he finally started seeing results.
Within a span of 3 months, Vijay not only lost 13 kg but also experienced a significant improvement in his energy levels. His BP medication reduced from 60 mg to 20 mg and he is hoping to stop it completely soon.
"I even lost 5 inches on my waistline", he says with excitement.
Vijay is grateful to Wellness Quotient for giving him an environment to do something which is sustainable all the time. He is feeling so fit, conscious and has gained confidence to take selfies again!
