Being lean doesn't mean that you are healthy!
Being 5'11" and having a skinny body, Sachin never realized that his IT career was taking a toll on his health!
Sitting for long hours, sleeping late and late-night snacking slowly became a habit, effects of which eventually started showing up in his annual blood work.
With the help of his wife, he got connected to a WQ coach and the first discussion gave him a lot of confidence. He decided to enroll in a health transformation program.
"I started adopting all components of the recommended wellness lifestyle, namely dietary changes, exercise regime, managing sleep quality & meditation", says Sachin.
When he started the program, apart from being overweight, he had many health issues like higher blood glucose, elevated cholesterol and low vitamin D levels. But over the next 4 months of working under the guidance of his coach, things changed for the better.
His fasting glucose reduced from 106 to 97 and his cholesterol levels reduced from 220 to 182. His vitamin D levels also improved from 56 to 78 while he lost approx. 10 kg of weight in the process.
"My belly fat has gone down and now I feel happy to follow my new lifestyle", says Sachin with excitement!
