Relieved to get back my health!

When Chandrakant approached Wellness Quotient, he was worried about his weight and cholesterol!

He didn't just want to lose weight, but also to feel healthy. And that's when he spoke to a WQ coach and enrolled in a health transformation program.

Using circadian rhythm to stay healthy long term!

Belonging to a family of doctors, staying healthy has always been on top of Prabhat's list.

So, he maintained a regular workout and dietary routine to stay fit in his college days.

But when he started to work, things changed. "Being a foodie, biriyani is my favourite dish", says Prabhat.

During one of his routine blood works, he was shocked to see that his lipid profile parameters were off the charts!

His doctor gave him medications but also told him that lack of sleep and high stress were key contributors to his health condition. A few months later, he also suffered from a facial paralytic attack.

"Thanks to God that I came in touch with a WQ coach around that time and discussed my health and lifestyle corrections at length", recalls Prabhat. A high-profile job gave Satyabhama satisfaction and respect, but the stress it brought along also made her a BP patient!

Sujit felt a little different. Getting tired very soon and mild pain around the heart was becoming common.

That's when he decided to go for some lab tests. He was shocked by the results! He even repeated the tests in another lab, but with the same results.

His triglycerides were 730 and HDL was 30! He knew it was time to take action.

Around that time, someone introduced him to a WQ coach.

With hope, he started the program and followed the suggested guidelines. He was quite surprised with the result he got after 45 days of the program!

The triglyceride levels had dropped to 196 and HDL also increased to 39.

Now he is quite happy and working more to reduce his cholesterol to the normal level.

Hypertension : side effect of a conventional businessman's life...

Swarna, ex- IT professional of 11 years staying in Bangalore shares an insightful testimony of her father about how the Wellness Quotient community helped father to lower down BP levels and reduce hypertension. Her father has been suffering from this issue from 20-25 years with medication. The problem was the side effects of the medication like sleeplessness.  Swarna emotionally recounts the struggles and horrifying moments that she has seen her father go through along with her 7 sibling as he was the only earning member of the family. 

The reason: His stressful lifestyle due to running a business. 

First time when he was diagnosed, his BP level was 300 – way above normal levels due to which doctor asked him to take immediate action. He was able to lower down his levels through medication but that led to side effects related to sleeping. During the time when Swarna was in Bangalore, she worked with the WQ Coaches and was able to refine her father’s diet and incorporate necessary lifestyle changes.

The approach of WQ community that food can be treated as medicine really attracted Swarna in following the guidance laid out by WQ coach. So, she burnt the midnight oil and went through multiple workshops to learn the different pillars of health with the sole aim of solving her father’s issue of sleeplessness. Though she faced initial resistance while guiding her father due to her IT background, Swarna was able to successfully impress her father about her new found expertise on holistic wellness involving combination of diet and nutrition. She is very happy now to note that her father of 78 years age leads a normal life with an active lifestyle and most importantly out of all medications like blood thinners, sleeping pills as well as to control high BP

Vanishing Cholesterol

Kamal works as a Project Manager in the IT Industry and resides in Bangalore for the past 17 years with his wife and 3 beautiful daughters.

Being a health conscious individual, every year, Kamal gets a medical check-up done in his office. As per the latest report, it was found that, his lipid profile needed attention – 4 of the values in it, were totally out of range - HDL, Triglycerides, VLDL and the ratio between Total Cholesterol and HDL.

From HBA1C of 6 to 4.7

Michele and Ryan have been living in Bangalore since 19 years now. She used to work as an HR, till a couple of years ago, she chose to become an entrepreneur.

Michele used to get her annual blood checks done on a regular basis. In December 2018, her HBA1C score was 6. As a result, she used to experience sudden freezing, and it became apparent that she would eventually become a diabetic, as her extended family on both sides of her parents had a history of the disease.

Freedom from 2 Evils of Heart Health

Harini is an artist by profession and teaches painting. She was having fluctuations in her triglycerides and cholesterol levels for quite a long time and was suggested specific medication by the doctor. But, knowing about the side effects of allopathic medication, she was not very keen to go for it. In fact, she didn’t even start the medication as she knew that the underlying reason for high levels of cholesterol in her body is hormonal imbalance which she has been suffering from some time now.
