A software professional in USA - doesn’t that sound like a dream come true?

Well, it was so for Sumit until he woke up one fine day to find himself unrecognisable in the mirror. A lean and active college boy that he had been, Sumit had always believed that gaining weight in the software industry was not going to be his story.

But the ugly truth stared at him when sedentary lifestyle started showing its colour on his weighing scale.

Frequent aches and pains, digestive disorders were becoming his new normal. The alarm bell rang loud when his medical report showed a very high triglyceride.

As he looked around for help, he found Wellness Quotient through an old friend and things just fell in place.

The wellness coach designed a sustainable program based on his work schedule and food habits and walked every step of the journey with him.

Soon, Sumit could see things brightening up as his parameters showed better figures. Triglyceride came down to 94 from 399, he weighed 14 kgs less and everything looked positive.

When his baby arrived during the pandemic, Sumit’s joy knew no bounds. Adding to his happiness was the fact that his changed lifestyle habits helped him lose wight even with the change that the newborn brought to his schedule.

“But for Wellness Quotient, all this would have been far from reality,” beams a thankful Sumit.

Today, Sumit is fit as a fiddle sans aches and pains, very regular with workouts and helping others get fit.
