A doctor's journey towards wellness!
"Doctors are often so busy helping others stay healthy that their own health takes a back seat!
And that's what happened with Dr. Prashant too, a pediatric surgeon from Pune.
"Being a surgeon, I had unpredictable timings, unplanned meals and junk food was frequent", says Dr. Prashant. "Skipping meals, overeating and late night dinner were normal."
In spite of this lifestyle, he always thought that he was healthy because he wasn't suffering from any disease!
But pretty soon he realized that this lifestyle is taking a toll on his health. He was at least 10 kg overweight with high visceral fat and high metabolic age!
Inspired by the WQ community, he started taking guidance from a WQ coach.
Over the next few months, he lost around 15 kg.
"My tummy went in. My relatives and friends started noticing the change and my size went from “L” to “M” which was exciting", says Dr. Prashant.
Once he fixed his lifestyle, his strength, energy, and even facial glow improved significantly.
When asked about how you feel today, Dr. Prashant says, "Though my age was increasing, I felt I am getting younger by the day. I feel age is just a number!"
