Making your hormones your friend!

For most women, that time of the month is not easy. But for some, it is dreadful!

In Harini's case, it has been so since she was 10 years of age. Irregular, heavy and very painful.

This led to her becoming anemic too. She would get tired very easily and was susceptible to frequent cough and cold. "I could realise these hormonal imbalances were affecting me", she says. "After all, they are all interlinked."

Even though Harini wasn't overweight, she had developed a double chin. This made her camera shy. She was low on confidence and would usually avoid getting clicked.

It's around this time she got introduced to Wellness Quotient community and started working with one of their wellness coaches. She was suggested certain lifestyle changes - including her diet and workout regime.

"I lost 5 kgs. Out of it, 4 kgs was fat loss", she recalls. It made a huge difference for Harini. She felt more confident and her body more energetic and lighter.

"My periods are regular now", she says with a sigh of relief. "It is such a blessing. And the best part is that I got rid of my hormonal medication!"
