Taking charge of my health!
"Working as a manager in the IT industry, I gained weight and belly fat gradually", says Jaishiva.
Though he wasn't eating a lot, wrong food choices and odd timings coupled with sedentary life were the reasons behind his weight gain.
"Taking a nap after meals was my favorite, but as time passed, I started gaining weight and went out of shape", recalls Jaishiva. "In a few years, I became a whopping 86 kg!"
He never really thought about his health or fitness until he started noticing tummy fat and loss of stamina while doing daily chores. That was an alarm for Jaishiva!
Fortunately, he got in touch with a WQ coach, who helped him understand that true health is not about just losing weight but about building healthy habits.
Over the next few months, Jaishiva started changing small things in his lifestyle.
"In spite of being in a profession that is sedentary, I could reduce my waist size from 36 inches to 32 inches and my weight from 86 kg to 73 kg!" says a confident Jaishiva today.
The Wellness Quotient platform that started him on his wellness journey has allowed him to inspire many more.
